Enterprise architecture is "a well-defined practice for conducting enterprise analysis, design, planning, and implementation, using a holistic approach at all times, for the successful development and execution of strategy.

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)

Is a software licensing and delivery model which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted.

Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)

Provider hosts virtualized computing resources for the customer.

Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)

Platform-as-a-service is a category of cloud computing service that provides a platform allowing customers to develop, run and manage Web applications without the complexity of building and maintaining the infrastructure typically associated with developing and launching an app.

Private cloud

Is a particular model of cloud computing that involves a distinct and secure cloud based environment in which only the specified client can operate.

Public cloud

A public cloud is one based on the standard cloud computing model, in which a service provider makes resources, such as applications and storage, available to the general public over the Internet
